Jesus said that just before the 7 year Tribulation begins, then various global turbulences will occur as signs of His nearness like 'earth- quakes', 'the roaring of the seas' , hurricanes, flooding, etc.
He called them 'birth pangs' since they 'will deliver' the world into the foretold 7 years of Tribulation. [Math.24:7,8,9].
Today, these birth pangs [like earthquakes] will increase GLOBAL- LY in frequency AND intensity, like birth pangs do, as this generation draws closer to the very 'start' of the foretold Tribulation. [Matthew 24:7-9 / Luke 21:25]
